Cookie Policy
Only the cookies the site needs to work - for signing in and protecting forms. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how AppGena uses them, and your choices regarding cookies when you use our website.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work properly, enhance security, and provide information to site owners.
2. Cookies We Use
We currently use only strictly necessary cookies that are essential for the website to function. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
.AspNetCore.Identity.Application |
Keeps you signed in to your account across pages and visits | Strictly Necessary | 14 days (renewed while you use the site) |
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* |
Protects form submissions from cross-site request forgery attacks | Strictly Necessary | Session |
.AspNetCore.Mvc.CookieTempDataProvider |
Carries a one-time message (for example "Saved") to the next page | Strictly Necessary | Session |
Identity.TwoFactorUserId, Identity.TwoFactorRememberMe |
Only if you use two-factor sign-in: completes the second step, and remembers this device if you ask it to | Strictly Necessary | Minutes / 14 days |
dca.support |
Only for AppGena staff helping a customer in support mode: remembers which customer workspace they opened | Strictly Necessary | Up to 8 hours |
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
The cookies marked strictly necessary are essential for the website to function properly. Without these cookies, services you have asked for (such as signing in to your account) cannot be provided. These cookies do not require your consent under GDPR and similar regulations.
4. Non-Essential Cookies
We currently do not use any analytics, advertising, marketing, or other non-essential cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and ask you again through the cookie consent banner so you can make an informed choice.
5. Other Browser Storage
In addition to cookies, we use your browser’s local storage for a few conveniences that never leave your device: your cookie consent choice (Accept or Decline, with the date and the policy version) so we can remember it on future visits, and screen preferences such as remembered tabs or column widths.
The field app on your phone stores your assignments on the device so you can work without a connection; that data is covered by our agreement and privacy policy rather than this cookie policy.
6. Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. However, please be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using core features of the website.
To change your cookie consent choice, click the “Cookie Preferences” link in the website footer at any time.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make a material change we post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date and ask for your choice again.
8. Contact Us
If you have questions about our use of cookies, email support@appgena.com. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information more generally.
